Huh-wha?!? with arrowhead stitch

ok, arrowhead stitch ( http://newstitchaday.com/how-to-knit-the-arrowhead-lace-stitch/ ) is a multiple of 10 + 1 pattern. due to needle length, i originally decided to do 51 for my cast on. the pattern is:

row 1: K1 *(YO, SL1, K1, PSSO) twice, K1, (K2tog, YO) twice, K1, repeat from * (should end up with original cast on amount)

rows 2 & 4: Purl all (should end up with original cast on amount)

row 3: K2 *YO, SL1, K1, PSSO, YO, SL1, K2tog, YO, K3, repeat from * to last 9 then YO, SL1, K1, PSSO, YO, SL1, K2tog, PSSO, YO, K2tog, YO, K2 (should end up with original cast on amount)

repeat rows 2-4 until desired length.

so, is there something ‘tricky’ with this one that’s escaping me? because i’ve tried 4 times… twice with 51 cast on, twice with 41 cast on just in case (less stitches to work on, catch any goofs, etc), and i can’t seem to make it to the end of row 3/beginning of row 4 with the right amount of stitches. it could totally just be me, but still, thought i’d check.

thanks! - X

Row 3: K2, *yo, sl 1, k1, psso, yo, sl 1, k2tog, psso, yo, k2tog, yo, k3; rep from * to last 9 sts, yo, sl 1, k1, psso, yo, sl 1, k2tog, psso, yo, k2tog, yo, k2

You missed the ‘psso’ after the ‘K2tog’.

that was it! i looked at that about 10 times. obviously was having selective eyesight  thanks so much!
