How would you make these?

I’m guessing you could do the body like the finger of a glove… but how would you get the legs in?

Maybe you can find a similar pattern or something at one of these sites.

$37.50 for a 6 inch momma pig and two piglets?

Personally, I’d like them better felted. But it does remind me a bit of the felted lamb pre-felted (see the Whatcha Knittin’ forum).

This book says it has a pig in, but I don’t see any pictures of it. Perhaps you can get it at the library?

Hm… Looks like they casted on the width of the legs, and when they got to the body they decreased and then increased for the next set of legs, then made a head.

I think? :??

Or you could modify that darned cute Kitty that was on here a coupla days ago. You could use the same method for the legs…I’d sure try for that price!!!

Thanks for all the suggestions! The link to amazon toy books got me looking around and I found a picture of a mighty similar pig on a Debbie Bliss pattern book http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0312119011/ref=pd_bxgy_text_b/002-1931296-0280866?_encoding=UTF8

ONe of the reviewers said everything is knitted flat. So I guess I can toy with scraps of fabric until I get the shape that works then knit that.

Thanks again!

Cute! I think I like the Debbie Bliss piggies better than those above! They have a little more detail in the snout.
