replying to my own post here. I like these socks, but I have only done one pair of socks and they were on DPN’s…I liked doing them that way. Being not very experienced and especially bad at pattern reading, I was hoping someone could tell me how to do these on the DPN’s
Ginny

divide the stitches on 4 needles… use markers to label 2 needles as 1 (1 a/1b) and other markers as 2, (2a/2b)

follow the directions. treat 2 needle as 1 (1+1a+1b//2=2a+2b)

no other changes needed!

you are knitting in the round… the number of needles doesn’t change the pattern… there are some minor changes for setting up the heel, (1/2 the stitches… (either needle 1 or needle 2 in 2 on 2 method)

The yarn off that site? I love some of the socks on that site… but don’t know how to order yarn…I take it that it’s all fingering yarn/sock yarn.

:knitting:

That’s the manufacturer’s site. They have a list of shops that carry it - http://www.straw.com/cpy/knitshops.html and you can buy from http://www.yarnmarket.com/ www.jimmybeanswool.com www.theyarnco.com and
www.royalyarns.com/UniqueBoutiques/crystalpalace.htm to name a few places I found on a google search.

another question? What is p into running thread between stitches? Is this a M1?
