How to tighten purls

I have hard time with do purls after knits with cables because purls turn too loose.

I dont know how solve this problem.

Help me please

You can try purling through the back loop to tighten them up.

That’s normal for cables, but if it bothers you purling through the back loop or wrapping the yarn in the opposite direction (under instead of over) should help. My preference is wrapping the yarn under instead of over. It’s faster.

Hello, I dont know how do back loop or wrap the yarn. Do you have picture or video about how do back loop or wrap the yarn?

The Glossary has a video for knitting through the back loop (ktbl) and wrapping the yarn backwards is just what it sounds like, wrap the yarn around the needle the opposite direction you normally do.
