How to store baby alpaca?!?!?

My daughter spent 10 days in Peru on a missionary trip and brought back 2 skeins of Baby Alpaca yarn for me!!! It’s the softest yarn ever but I don’t know how to store it. All my other yarn is acrylic and I keep it in bins in my basement.

I don’t know if/when I’ll ever actually use this but I don’t want to let it “go bad”!! Any tips/ideas on storage??

I think moths or other bugs are probably the biggest risk. I don’t know if it’s the correct way, but i keep my wool in a big ziploc bag.
