How to secure boa

I’m just wondering if there is a special way to secure this yarn when weaving ends in? :thinking: It seems like a slippery yarn I would hate for it to just fall apart after I cut the ends off.

For the scarves I made, I left a longer-than-usual tail and wove it back and forth at least three times. The nature of this yarn is very slippery when weaving it in, so if you keep going back and forth, it makes it harder to “pull out” from normal use.
