How to reverse a thumb gusset in a glove?

I have made socks and sweaters. This is my first pair of gloves.
I understand how to knit the first glove say the left glove. I was able to follow the pattern and make the first left glove but when I got to the right glove after making the cuff and the first 4 round knit rows it says for right thumb of glove reverse the pattern for the thumb for the right glove. How do you go about reversing the the thumb gusset or gore pattern? What do you do? Instead of starting with the doing the round and then the increase do you do the increase and then the round? Can you explain how reversing the Thumb pattern in a simple knit glove is done? :hair: :help: :verysad:

Instead of starting with the doing the round and then the increase do you do the increase and then the round?

Yes, ‘reverse’ usually just means do the shaping (incs or decs) on the other side of the piece. So instead of putting the gusset at the end of the round, you’d put it at the beg of it.

I am going to try this so I understand better.
Good thing it is not a permanent thing and it can be pulled out and started over.
I really love fingerless gloves but have been afraid of the gussest/gore.:aww:
