Have tried to print free Barbie patterns listed by Rhonda Gehringer but only the first page will print. No email address available. Can someone help. Would love to knit the clothes.
can you tell us where the pattern is so we can try it out.
I ususally copy the pattern into Word and then manipulate it so it fits on the least amount of pages and then print.
Go to “free patterns” click on “toys and dolls” and then to “Barbie”. The patterns I could not print were the wedding gown, blonde bombshell, poodle skirt. Thanks.
I just printed out the Blonde bomb shell
I just went to file and print
hmm… well i just tried to print the poodle skirt and it wouldn’t print the dog without prompting. not really sure why but it only seems to recognize it as a 1 page project. i just went back and highlighted the dog, went to file, print, print selection, and then print. that should get the poodle to print for you.
I just tried to print poodle skirt by highlighting the WHOLE pattern and it printed both pages
For most patterns, I create a PDF, and then print it from Acrobat as a 2-up layout. Makes a little booklet that can be folded in half. Plus, you can save the PDF in case you need it again and can’t find it because it’s gone or you can’t remember where you found it.
To create your own PDFs, free download from www.primopdf.com .
That is what I do, it also cuts down on the “color” printing because many sites have alto of ads and extra stuff.

Agreed. I usually use wordpad, but it works the same. Then I can just get what I want w/o all the extranious crap. :teehee:
I use notepad, just simple text. I include the link so I can look at the picture or schematics if I need to refer to them.

I also copy and paste the picture into my pattern.
I tried highlighting the patterns and it worked!! Still don’t know why I could only get the one page without the highlighting - but thanks for taking the time to help. Georgina
I prefer to utilize this PDF Converter. It is freeware and produces fine PDFs.
