Hi everyone,
My name is Naomi and I’m helping my friend build a wool wall installation. We’re hoping it’ll act as a piece of art as well as soundproofing.
We’re trying to build a 5 foot by 3 foot wool material wall using raw wool.
We really like the knubby texture of the left image. We’ve tested using hardware wire but wondering if these plastic panels will be easier to handle.
My issue is keeping the wool pieces in place. I’m pulling chunks of the wool through, but I’m not sure how to make sure they stay put.
Does anyone have a recommendation on how to keep them in place? Sewing, gluing…?
