I am on here because I tried knitting a while back but found it extremely confusing. Is there one, reliable, free resource anyone has learned kitting from?
There are several good sources. It’s more a matter of which one appeals to you or which style of knitting you might like. Below are listed just a sample:
At the top of this page is a tab for free videos.
Stacey Perry has clear videos including slow motion demos of basic stitches.
Liat Gat is very clear and helpful.

I have to yet find anyone with as good videos as Suzanne Bryan:
I think Suzanne really knows what she talks about. Later when you are more experienced and you watch youtube videos will notice that even some often mentioned “big names” does not understand what they do but that seems to not be the case with Suzanne. I have not watched all of her videos but those that I have seen has been very good.
