I would like to knit this shawl but as I review the instructions there is one line
I don’t understand. "Knit the 2d stitch (knit 2sts on WS)
I hope someone can help explain.

It looks like a typo. Probably should be “knit the 2nd (second) stitch”

If I may, another question, when it is charted only odd rows, what should I do on even rows, knit or purl?
