OK I am making a Spring(figure it will take me that long to get it finished) sweater/t-shirt and I am using a cotton poly blend yarn. Its time to start another ball but how should I join it to the existing one in the least visible way? This part of the top is all stockinette stitch and I have ended the first ball on what will be the side seam.
Probably a Russian join is the least visible. That’s shown on the Tips page along with a couple other methods.
Thanks for the reply, going to the tips page now.
Totally agreed. The russian join is fantastic. I am so meticulous about joins and loose threads and I hate weaving the yarn in. So the Russian join is by far the best one to use to avoid any of the above problems.
