How to fix a stitch - working yarn on left needle EDIT: FIXED

#1

EDIT: I believe I managed to fix it by turning my work around and re-knitting the last stitch. Thank you, this thread can be deleted now!

Hi, new to the forum, I was wondering if anyone could help me with how to fix this?

I was beginning a new row with 5 purls, but managed to mess up, drop the first one and sort of catch it… only now I’ve ended up with this:

I have absolutely no idea how to fix it, because I have no idea what I did to cause it. I’m incredibly confused how the working yarn has somehow ended up on the left needle.

If anyone with more experience could explain how to fix this, I would be extremely grateful!
