hi,
I’ve searched this site for information on darning socks but to my surprise, I didn’t find any.
On the web I found a couple of explanations (including hjsstudio.com) but I’m still finding it difficult to do. I just can’t quite “get it”.
Does anyone have any tricks or suggestions they can share?

I’m sorry, I don’t know how, but the Yarn Harlot suggests holding it over the garbage, dropping it in and saying, “Darn!”

Yes, that certainly is an option and one I think about often.

I don’t know how to do this, but I saw my aunt do it once. She put the sock over a lightbulb and wove w/whatever she was using to mend with to fill in the hole.
