How to copy a Pattern

I saw this blanket in a store

and I would like to try to make it. Can anyone tell me what the pattern might be?

It looks like seed stitch knit with many strands of yarn held together.

Row 1: K, P across.
Row 2: knit the purls and purl the knits across.

What is the scale of size for the photo?
Are your super close for detail? (Excellent job) this could be a bulky or super bulky yarn.

Otherwise I counted at least 8 strands when I zoomed in.
