How to CO add'tl sts

[FONT=Verdana]Hi - I’ve just started my first neck down cardigan. I’ve just finished the[/FONT] initial increases, and…“at the end of this last increase row, cast on 7 sts. Purl next row, and at the end of that row, cast on 7 sts.”

What method should I use for the additional cast on sts? I’m lost. I tried to figure out knitting on extra stitches, but this didn’t make sense.

Duh. Oh me of little faith. I’ve answered my own query; the panic is off. It was really nice to know that support was available, though!

I attended a seminar with Lily Chin and she said you can knit them on or even crochet them on your needle.
