I am making a child’s sweater and I have completed the collar. At this point I am supposed to cast on an additional 5 stitches at each end of the row. How do I do this? What is the best way to cast on at this point?
the Single cast on… go to the cast on page and watch the video… that should be it.
More specifically, do a knitted, cable or backwards loop cast on, whichever you prefer. Videos available for all of them.

I just did this. I used the cable cast on. Worked great.
