The Lion brand pattern is called “Stockinette knit Shrug” ( No wonder I couldn’t find it. I was asking for "turtleback pattern!) It calls for cotton yarn, which I hate, but is in the worsted weight so I plan to use that pattern. Have tried to picture in my mind with no luck, but I think this one looks easy enough for someone who has knitted for 60* years.
