How to attach snap/button

Hey there,

I’m finishing up on a purse and just thought, how am I going to attach a snap or a button to yarn. Yarn moves, It’s not a solid object like cloth. Do you just grab a sewing needle and hand sew the thing in there?

There are a number of existing threads on the topic of attaching buttons. Just do a Search.

For snaps, assuming it’s a bit on the large size for purse, I’d cover it in matching fabric and then attaching/sewing it will make it much more secure.
