I am knitting noah jumper from patons play days book for PBN0000-03674, need to attach lower borders to front, back and sleeves of jumper having folded back 6 rows of main body to attach border. pattern says to attach border to row 7 allowing 6 rows of stocking stitch to roll to RS of work.
There is no mention of how to attach, not sure which method is best or how etc, would appreciate any help only checked sites and this is not covered anywhere
Thanks
Welcome to the forum!
Does the border attach to the outside or to the inside of the main body?
If you have line sts, you might be able to knit one border stitch together with one main body stitch and cast off. If that’s too bulky, maybe just use the yarn to blind stitch the border to the body.
Unfortunately I have to fold ends over 6 stitches to front of work and then join the border to 7th row, think it might just have to be back stitch as can’t work out any other way but does create bulk doing this.
Thanks
