how to... 3-needle bind off, in garter stitch, so it stays in garter stitch.

3-needle bind off, in garter stitch, so it stays in garter stitch (as in, doesn’t show one weird row of stockinette)… i started with front side (after picking out provisional cast-on), ended with wrong side, so far. suggestions? amy here on KH has a garter stitch kitchener video but… that’s a no-go. thanks, cheers, 'topher

Hi X!
I end on a WS row so that I have bumps facing the RS. Seam with the RS together and you’ll avoid a “stockinette row” at the join.

Love it! Thanks for the picture.

Isn’t garter the same on both sides? I need to try this.

If you look at both sides of garter stitch near the needle you can see bumps on one side snugged up right against the needle. On the other side, you’ll see Vs next to the needle.

OK, I got it now!
