How Much Yarn? Please help!

I am planning to start knitting a scarf that is rediculously long (10-15 ft) I have checked all over, but cannot find out how much yarn I need! please help

The answer also depends on what weight yarn and needles you’re using. Obviously lace weight would be a lot more than bulky. Here’s an estimator chart for different weights for a 4.5’ scarf. You do the math. :wink:
