How much "Sierra" to knit a simple scarf?

I’m looking at this yarn to make a simple scarf, in either garter stitch or 1x1 ribbing. Maybe 5-6 inches wide and 6 or 7 feet long.

I’m having it hand-dyed, so it will be the price of the yarn plus dyeing. Do you think I can make it with just 2 skeins or will I need 3?

I made a gigantic cowl with 2 skeins on size 15s or 13s… it probablly ISN"T 5-6 feet long though. I’d buy 3 just in case.

Darn. I was hoping to get away with 2, but you’re probably right :frowning:

Well if I have a skein left over, maybe I can find something else to do with it…

you can make a matching hat or mittens and add it to the cuff!
