Seeing how young some of you were is really reassuring in a sense. Everyone keeps telling me “Never get married in your 20’s” I just wanna flip em off.
My grandparent’s got married really young too, and they were happy and in love till the day my grandpa died. Even after that Grandma never dated or took a fancy to anyone else.
My hubby and I met almost 10 years ago, we began dating on Oct. 27 of '99 and got married on Oct. 25, 2002. I was 25 and he was 27. For both of us, it was our second marriage. Our 5 year anniversary is 3 months away!

my life partner and I have been together for 9 years this coming up October…we still dig each other, it’s the longest relationship either of us have ever been in…so that’s pretty cool…
20 years this September :passedout:
I’m in with the seconding on how I’m glad to see how many people got married ‘young’ and it’s working out - I’m 26 and getting married sometime in the next 2 years, I think that 28’s a really good time to be starting a family, and it’s encouraging to see other people who it’s worked out for
You hear so many terrible stories these days, I always think it’s lovely to hear about the ones that work out
Here’s to love!
We will be married 7 years this year and been together I think 8 or 9. I was in my early 30’s he had just turned 30 when we married. I could not imagine getting married in my 20’s, I was just not ready for that big of a commitment, heck I was never one to imagine me getting married in the first place! One of my best friends from high school got married right out of high school and contrary to people getting married so young, they are still married and had their 6th baby!!
38 years. Best decision I ever made.
12 years this october. I was 25, he was 35.
We are coming up on our 2nd wedding anniversary in August, but we’ve been together for 4 years. We married when I was 28 and DH was 29.
18 years in September. I was 19.
