well let me say, i have NOOOOOOOOO patience for delivery times so it has always seemed like stuff takes forever to arrive from them. when i ordered my big box of stuff recently from them i paid the $7 to have it sent 3 day instead of taking the free shipping…mostly because when i had ordered the last time it had taken nearly 2 weeks to get the stuff to me. However, i did place a small order recently and it did arrive within a week so i would say that the couple of times it took longer it was mostly just a fluke and my lack of patience!

I ordered last Friday and the entire order has been shipped. Now I’m stalking the Mail-lady. I’m hoping it will be there today when I get home from work. I’ll let you know!

I paid the $7 for 3-day for 3 reasons:
- my mail carrier is an idiot
- the private carriers are smarter
- at least I know when it will arrive
I dunno… maybe i’m the odd one out but i placed what i thought was a small order (1 skein, 1 book and 4 color cards) and it took 12 days to arrive.
I was kinda ticked that it took almost 2 weeks for such a small order…
Ah well… It’s here now and i’m too busy to use it!!

I got an email that they have shipped it yesterday, so I hope that means something.

I was given a gift cert for knitpicks a while back and I went CCCRAZY on sock yarn, then they came out with the new sock yarn…lol!!
My shipments usually arrive in less than a week, my 1st shipment (many moons ago ) took a while bc of an error in the shipping dept., but it was taken care of & I have been the HAPPIEST knitpicks customer ever ! I placed an order for my WOTA to do Knitty’s ‘Cozy’ yesterday and got the email this a.m. that it’s been shipped. So far I’ve been very, very lucky with everything that I order online and shipping ! Sure hope that continues bc I have very cool yarn coming from KnitPixie, too…very yummy & delicious SWTC’s Karake yarn AND my gotta have WOTA from knitpicks…I so so 
delivery people!!
For some reason, we have really good luck with shipping…we get our Netflix movies super fast, we get Amazon orders practically next day…I ordered a whole bunch of stuff from KnitPicks on Monday night, and it arrived today. Woo hoo!!

I’m hoping it will be here today, since I’m going to visit my DD tonight. We’ll be watching 2 football games tomorrow. I’m a Univ of MI grad, and she’s an Ohio State grad (and yes - we still speak to each other, even in November :rollseyes: ) so we’ll both be knitting and “cheering” on each others teams. But TWO FOOTBALL GAMES should be long enough to get at least one pair of clogs done! WOO WOO! :happydance: :happydance:
But I NEED THE WOTA before I can start!

I ALWAYS root for Big Ten teams when they’re playing out of conference.
Then I get selfish and root for Michigan first, then the underdog in any game MI isn’t playing, so I’ll be rooting for Iowa against the Buckeyes (I just hope my DD doesn’t disown me).
Looking at the Big Ten this year I think MI may have problems with: Wisconsin (we’ll see tomorrow), Michigan State (they look AWESOME), Minnesota - that running back is special, Iowa - especially with your quarterback doing well (I’m glad his concussion wasn’t serious), and , OF COURSE, OHIO STATE (a little intrafamily rivalry there). Strange to be looking at a possibility of a SIX loss season.
I always get my best knitting time of the fall during college football games! :cheering: :cheering: :cheering:

I have to say that Iowa is looking great this year. I am a Husker Fan myself but I can’t help but notice how much Iowa are improving!
