How in the world do I calculate this?

I am mathematically challenged when it comes to directions like this:

Pick up 191 stitches evenly.

The piece is the waistband on Broderie and is blocked to 32". I do not know how to calculate the proper spacing for picking up.

Can anyone please help? :?? Here is the waistband

What you can do is mark the piece at the halfway measurement, then 1/4, and even 1/8 and pick up 1/4 or 1/8 the sts between the markers.
