How do they know?

I never get ads for yarn or accessories when I am broke and it is EASY to say no to them. But as soon as I have the least bit of money floating around in my account, I am bombarded with advertising. Buy our yarn! Accessories on sale! Free shipping! AAAAACCCCCCKKKKKKK!!!

I have the oppisite problem. The second I’m broke I’m finding all these great ads and deals. :help: :expressionless:

They don’t have the color yarn I really want (I’m kinda color picky I gues) when I could afford them, but now that I don’t have the money suddenly the colors I want are all over the place. :wall:

Yes I know, but even though the money is there I can’t spend it! Choosing to be responsible is so much harder for me than just having to responsible because I can’t afford irresponsibility anyway!!

Ah. Yeah, I feel your pain.

I have to give myself self imposed ‘groundings’ sometimes.

Oh yeah, I am totally on a yarn “time out”.

I’m kind of on a yarn “time out” but that’s mainly because I’m sooo hesitant about buying things off the internet. I’d much rather go into a store and buy it. But I don’t like going into small lys b/c I don’t want people to be like gosh she’s in here all the time!! :rofling:

I’m totally on a yarn-buying break. The deal is I have to use up my current stash before I buy more. It’s so haaaaaaaaaaard!

Yes; I’ve grounded myself to not buy anymore yarn until I have finished my “OLympic socks,” 2 more felted bags, a pair of felted clogs, and a beaded beanie. THEN I will let myself plan some more projects. I keep seeing these really cool things that I want to make, but there aren’t enough ours in the day. Maybe I should quit my job and just stay home and knit. Oh wait. I already do that!

So true!! I have Hobby Lobby having a sale that dh said he would take me to on Sat. and then on Sun. the LYS is having a big Super Bowl Sale… I really need to decide where I’d save the most and void the other!!

OT: Ever notice how you get a mailbox full of pizza coupons the day AFTER you order pizza?

SO TRUE!
