Friend and I were looking at a pattern and got stumped on one of the directions. I know that this is an increase, but couldn’t find the video. How do you k1,p1,k1 in the same stitch. Also how do you p1,kn1,p1 in the same stitch?
Insert your right needle into the working stitch as if to knit. Knit the stitch but don’t slide the stitch off the left needle. Then insert the right needle into the same stitch as if to purl. Purl the stitch, but again do not slide the stitch off the left needle. Then insert and knit into the same stitch. NOW slide the stitch off the left needle.
Same for the reverse.
