I am knitting a pair of mittens and it says knit 13;kfb;k6;kfb;with right side facing,slip remaining stitches to double-ended stitch holder or thread themon to wast yarnin a contrasting color.turn.purl across 10 stitches of thumb:turn. What does turn mean.
Just what it says- turn the knitting around in your hand and knit back the other way. 
It usually says that when you’re going to turn before finishing the row of stitches.
