How do I transfer to 2 circulars?

Im knitting the http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/the-republic-hat (on ravlery). It has me knit straight for about 2 inches then I start knitting in the round. Issue is I only have two circulars for the knitting in the round once the circumference is too small instead of DPN’s (kinda short on funds for knitting supplies:waah: ). So to the question, How do I transfer to two circulars after Im done knitting the straight portion? :wall: . Any help is greatly appreciated!:flirt:

You don’t have to ‘transfer’ or slip the stitches, just start knitting. Knit half the stitches on one circ, then the other half on the other one.

well that does make lots of sense. DUh! THx so much. I overthink things to much

Don’t feel badly about that one – you can’t believe how many knitters don’t realize that for quite a while – I once talked to someone who had been knitting for over forty years before she figured that one out! Definitely a “duh” moment for a lot of people.
