How do I reverse K2tog tbl shaping?

I’m knitting a v-necked baby cardigan - on the left front the front edge shaping decreases by knitting a k2tog tbl. But then on right front shaping, the pattern just says reverse shaping given for left front. Not very helpful. The effect on the left front is a pretty decorative decrease, but no matter how i try, i can’t seem to match the look on the right front. Any ideas? :stuck_out_tongue:

Take a look at the video decrease page here at KnittingHelp. Amy shows a swatch with increases/decreases that pairs the opposing stitches up so you can “mirror” your increases/decreases. Pick the one you like.

Or you could try doing the decreases on the WS and work a p2tog.

It doesn’t necessarily mean to reverse the stitch, but to put the shaping at the other edge of the 2nd piece. So you can either p2tog or ssp

OKay, this shows you how much I know. I would have done the K2tog TBL at the opposite end of the row to reverse shaping. No wonder I have such problems
