when my WIP is in storage? I have some Boye point protectors but they keep coming off the Addi Turbos… I don’t want my work getting messed up/coming off the circs so what can I do to keep it on the needles when I’m not working on it?
How do I keep my knitting from coming off my Addi Turbos
hmm…i haven’t had that problem but i usually make sure i pull the needle points out so that the work is entirely on the cord. not fool proof but it has to work harder at getting down the points that way. hopefully someone has a better answer. i can see how it could be a big problem if i am working on crowded needles! 
I usually pull everything down on the cord, too, but if that doesn’t work, maybe putting rubberbands on the ends?
Exactly!! that’s what I do…wash the rubberbands first tho!!! 
I have the small size Clover point protectors (the light green ones) and they stay on my addis (even the size 2s) just fine 
I too put the entire project down on the cord away from the needle tips. Then put the project down in my knitting bag or project basket with the points projecting up (in the deeper bag) or hanging over the side (in the shallower basket.) I haven’t had any trouble this way, but admittedly, with no cats or small children around, it’s probably easier for me than most since nothing bothers the stuff while it’s waiting for me to get back to it.
I use point protectors, too. They are much easier to get off than rubber bands. LOL I also push the project to the middle of the cord if possible, too.
I have a bunch of the Boye ones, but there are others.
Look for spongy point protectors. They hold better in general anyway.
Thanks! I was getting annoyed! LOL I’m a newbie and didn’t even think to just push everything onto the cord. The needles are pretty crowded but I can still push it all onto the cord, barely.
