How do i get rid of these tails?

so i want to send off my first scarf but i have these tails of yarn from cast on, cvast off, and changing to another ball of yarn, and i dont know how to make them disappear. i heard there is a knitting needle, like a big sewing needle, but i cant find any, and dont know what they are called… when i google “knitting needle” of course knitting needles come up

im sure there is a simple solution, but im not many smart :??

You can also use a crochet hook to weave in ends.
