How do I frog?

Okay, I know I shouldn’t feel this way, but this seems like a pretty silly question. I have no idea how to frog just a row or two. I know what frogging is, but I have one messed up row and i don’t know how to take it out without taking out the whole thing. While you are here, my pattern says to “inc evenly across last row”. I did this, but ended up with one more stitch than i should have. I used the stitch calculator to see where to put my increases, and did exactly what it said, i thought. anyway, i appreciate any advice.

well if you are truly going to frog it you can just pull it out until you get to the row and then pop each stitch out one and at a time and stick the needle in as you go. also check the “fixing mistakes” stuff on this site…maybe something there will work for you.

however…if that one extra stitch is the only problem and it won’t look wonky…i would just knit 2 tog and move along my merry way.

thanks, that will probably work. it is with eyelash yarn, so i am sure you wouldn’t be able to see it. thanks a bunch.

Unless you have a complicated stitch pattern that’s a stitch off, PLEASE don’t frog anything! Knit two together at the end of a row and continue on your way.

oh heck…yeah k2tog…i would NEVER frog back eyelash yarn… whenever i have, i have had a knotted mess that i ended up dumping.

yeah, that kinda already happened once  okay, twice  i will do that.
