How do I do this?

My pattern says to “slip 2 purl wise”. I know how to do that but do I slip both at the same time purl wise? OR do I slip each one individually? Or does it even make a difference??? Thanks so much for help.

It doesn’t make a difference. I will often do both together but it can depend on how fine the yarn is and how tight the knitting is. I’m lucky to knit right in between tight and loose as a rule but some items are tight close to needles because of fine yarn or particular stitching previously.

Think about what purlwise is… doing both at once is exactly the same movement and stitch orientation as one by one (unlike knitwise).
