HI! I recently finished my first pair of longies and when I had to bind the cuff there was like an open part there and I had to kind of just sew it together. I figured there was probably something I did wrong so I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. Thanks!
Were you binding off in the round? You’re really knitting a spiral when you do, and the end of the round is a row higher than the beginning. What I do is BO the last st, then pick up another st in the first on I bound off, in the middle of it, not the edge. Then bind that off and it brings the edges together evenly.
