How can i make this hat?

Hi,
I was browsing through my friend’s photos, and I found one of this amazing hat! I asked her about it, but she doesn’t know who it belongs to.
I’m still pretty new to knitting, but if anyone has any ideas as to how this hat could be made, I would love to learn. :slight_smile:

It looks like a crochet pattern to me and I am sure you can modify this one…just use mixed yarn types and don’t turn up the very small brim…
