I’m knitting Danica right now, and I’m having a bit of a problem with the pick up sts (both k and p) showing through. Will this fix itself, or is there something I can do differently? I’ve tried picking up through both loops, just the front loop, or just the back loop. What works one time, won’t necessarily work the next. I’m a bit at a loss. I also have the yarn showing through when I do the p2tog, or ssk. I’m thinking the two colors are just too much of a contrast…
I don’t think it looks bad. I suspect that the problem is with the color contrast. To be honest, you’re probably inspecting it the way a knitter does. I’d bet that someone less experienced would swoon at how pretty it is.
I agree with Ingrid. I think when you’re done and wash or block it, the yarn will fill in and the color contrast won’t be so noticeable. And to be honest, if it were hanging up 10 feet away, would you be able to see the other colors? No, I didn’t think so…
I completely agree with Ingrid! We are all too hard on ourselves when it comes to our knitting. I think it’s going to look very pretty!
