Hot out of the Oven Oven Mitt Help

I’m making the knitpicks.com free pattern, hot out of the oven, and I’m not sure how to make the oven mitt. It says that you are supposed to use two circular needles.

The pattern says: “using a long tail cast on, cast on 18 st onto needle A. Using the same long time, continute to cast 18 sts onto needle B. Join and knit 30 rounds.”

Can anyone explain this any clearer? Thanks!

The directions are for using two circs to knit in the round. You can use dpns if you’d rather, or magic loop. Amy has video on using two circs. Some people prefer it to dpns.

You may find it easier and your stitches more even if you cast on all the stitches to the same needle and then slip half knitwise onto the second circ.
