I just finished the Top Down Hoodie from Knitting Pure and Simple. This was a fast knit. I used Berroco Ultra Alpaca. Lovely yarn. This is a very simple and basic pattern but I ended up hemming the sleeves and bottom edge. I also added a bit of waist shaping and made the side vents overlap instead of being just a “V”. This improved the fit dramatically. More details here: http://www.ravelry.com/projects/newamy/neck-down-hooded-tunic-for-women-244
My daughter took my photo, it’s so hard to pose and give instructions at the same time.
Also this sweater is so cozy and warm! It is very, very comfortable. It is cold here and I am wearing it now and really don’t want to take it off.
Amy! You did a wonderful job of knitting this hoodie! The fit and the cut are perfect on you! It is a classic that you will wear for years! Looks great!
That is lovely!! I have this pattern too and the same yarn, but haven’t made it. Yours looks great! I wish it was cold enough for sweaters here-all day at least!! It’s usually cold enough in the AM and PM but not in between
