Holy Trousers... (WOW Related...)

(This is slightly WoW related, so apologies to anyone who doesn’t play!!)

My DH wore his best, and not to mention brand new suit last week… and promptly took a slip and put a hole in one of the knees…

(Grrr!!! Is he 5 years old again or what!!!)

Anyway, sent him an email this morning saying I’d take his “holy trousers” to see if i could get them mended…

He sent back and asked if I could get them altered to the following stats…

Lol… if i could make those happen in reality i’d make a million!!!

[I]Update on the trousers themselves, they apparently need “re-weaving”, they don’t do this anymore, and they don’t know of anyone else who does this in my area!![/I]

You need to find an enchanter. Probably a good idea to get one with max skill. Make sure you bring your own mats, those buggers can be expensive.

I did think about trying to knit handwarmers with enhanced knit speed…!

i know a mage with a ‘grow inanimate’ spell. that could help the trousers.

then i see WOW and think, ’ surely not world of warcraft … i hsould have read this before i posted my RPG post!

I don’t play WoW, but my son and sister do. And I used to play… no, I was addicted to a similar online RPG game. So I still got a chuckle out of it. :teehee:

Aw I miss WoW sometimes - I’m also a recovering addict, I quit because I was spending so much time on it that I never made anything. But when I was in it, I was in a really high-end guild on Magtheridon (google us, even the crap guilds on Mag had cleared Kara 8 months ago when I quit). It was too intense for me, though - it had got to the point that if I logged on puter, I logged on WoW…

I had a 70 Tier 5 NE Drood, just quit before the epic flying quest came in :frowning: I’m tinkering with the idea of going back as a casual player, especially since there’s a Ravelry Guild on the European servers now… It’d be nice to play with some people who weren’t so gear driven, like Mag was - everyone was trying to compete with Nihilium (best guild in the world - now paid to play) alllllll the time, just cause we were on the same server.

Willowangel, it can be SO Addictive… :frowning: My DH was in a guild with his highish level Palladin Enchanter, and he’d get bugged every time he logged in for free enchants (within the guild), plus constant requests of “Can you help?” No please, thankyous’ or anything!!

He stopped playing, got withdrawal symptoms, and then changed his character name!!

Some of the guilds can be SO up themselves… so we set our own up - and once it was set up, we kicked everyone else out. :wink: Sneaky maybe, but at least we can now play without hassle!

I think the plan is to open it up again, at some point in the future! But people who join have to know “IT’S ONLY A GAME!!!”
