Holes in the finished product

Hi, My husband and I are learning how to knit. He just finished his first lap blanket type of project. There are two holes that I need to repair. Should I just darn like I would a sock. Or, is there a trick?

How nice that you are learning together!

I don’t think there’s any ‘trick’. If you know how to darn socks, you’re probably good enough to fix it in a way that’s pretty invisible. I’ve often just tied them closed with a short length of yarn and tied it, weaving in the ends.
