I am making a scarf with furry yarn that I have doubled. I have not been counting stitches as I am just going along doing a plain knit stitch throughout the whole scarf. Well I am almost finished and I was going to untie some of my knots and work in the ends and low and and behold I had several loops that I didn’t even realize were there. So I thought what the heck are these things. I think I know what happened, I am working with the yarn doubled and many times I would come up with only a single stitch to knit so I think the other half of the stitch was dropped and I didn’t do anything about it. Of course these are all at the beg. because after I got further into it I thought I better do something with them and was fixing them before knitting them. So I tried to fix a couple of them and made them worse and now have a whole section where the stiches are not knitted at all and it is almost a whole. I don’t know what to do with the loops and think I can fix the hole by doing some weaving (???)
HELP HELP This is a gorgeous scarf with very expensive yarn and I was going to fringe it with beads on it I don’t want to can it.
