Holes from short rows? :(

i am making a pair of pants for my son, and had to knit some short rows to account for his bum
anyways, i have holes at the ends of the short rows!!! i cant undo it and fix it, bc i have knit too far now. is there anyway i can fix a hole in my work, without it being obvious?
maybe duplicating stitches with a tapestry needle or something?

thanks in advance!

Did you wrap and turn, or did you just turn your work? To avoid holes you need to wrap and turn, then you knit the wrap together with another stitch to hide it. Which Iโ€™m not even going to begin to try to explain, because why reinvent the wheelโ€ฆAmyโ€™s video explains it really well: short rows

no i didnt :frowning:

is there anything i can do to fix it?

I have been known to fix holes using yarn and a tapestry needle. There is no shame in that.
