I have this overwhelming urge to buy a ton of addi circs, brittany dpns and various knit picks yarn. Help!

I finished my first apron top (see whatcha knittin forum for my slight freak out over a flaw.) And since I finished I have a loooong line of projects I want to do.

I have a Needlemaster set but it does not go down to 16" for circs so of course I want to buy a ton of Addi 16’s.

And then, I have a full set of brittany 10’ but of course I want a few 14" and a whole bunch of dpns even thought I am scared of dpns.

And, I want to try so many knit picks yarn and get color cards…

HELP ME! This is a serious illness!!!

I’m not gonna be much help either… I went to an LYS intending to buy 1, but left after buying Addis, telling myself I would eventually need them all (and yes I have used all of them at least once).

Well, you know…you have to spend to save – the free shipping from Knit Picks that is!! :wink: That was totally my excuse to purchase little extras for my self such as the magnetic board to hold my pattern :smiley: :thumbsup:

At least I talked my dh into learning to crochet. He is much more understanding of all the yarn and needles because of it…and just laughs when a stray piece of yarn attaches itself to his clothes. :roflhard: Yarn yarn, everywhere!

Yep. btdt. Ebay is the worst place for me. I mean really, who can resist those prices?

Hear that? Its more needles calling my name…they need a home and want to be with other happy yarn. :lol:

I want the Brittany 5" DPN’s, but I already have every size of 7" DPN. I also want all sizes of Addi’s, even though I already have the Boye interchangeables and who knows if I’ll even need all sizes. There are tons of projects on KnitPicks that I want, and I just got a catalog from Patternworks, and I’m sure there’s stuff in there that I just have to have. Yup, I’m a knitaholic, but I don’t want to be cured - it’s too much fun. :happydance:

Butterfly, this is the first month in a long time I haven’t bought anything for knitting. It’s like withdrawal :frowning: But it’s a short month and gee, all I want is a swift, a ball winder, more Lantern Moons, yarn yarn and yarn :roflhard:

Edited to say, nevermind, I found him :lol: I guess he changed his user or something? His prices seem to be about the same as my LYS.

I went on a little shopping spree myself this evening. I spend $30 on needles at joann.com and another $45 at KnitPicks on yarn and a book, (The Knitter’s Handy Book of Sweater Patterns : Basic Designs in Multiple Sizes & Gauges).

I’ve found another place on ebay to get addi’s needles from the UK and she ships so darn fast I swear she sends them by rocketship! I bought 2 pair of 3.5 mm for around 19 USD last Friday (1/27) and got them this past Tuesday (1/31). Check out littlebramble. She has excellent feedback and lots and lots of addi’s! :cheering:
