sigh. I’ve been home for two weeks. Dispatch emailed me this morning to ask if I was ready to leave yet. Despite my desire to just stay home I do need to earn a living so I told them yes.
I have to pick up a couple of forklifts in Jacksonville tomorrow and take them up to the Chicago area.
If it weren’t for the need to eat and a roof over my head I’d be all set
I am in the same boat Mason. If it weren’t for those dang bills I would be happy to live a life of (pretty much) solitude. I like spending time with family and a few good friends but that is it - and I usually get sick of them after an hour! (Don’t get me wrong, I love my family and friends to pieces!)
Be safe in your travels…and don’t forget to take some cheap needles and yarn for the next few people that approach you in bars to ask about knitting so you don’t mess up your sweater or other projects…
Happy trails to you, until we meet again! Wave “hi” when you get to the corner of I95 and I16. I am from Chicago and it is still my fav place so wave to the beautiful lake for me. Here’s a link to a knitting shop in Chi town:
