Hiding thread on a side

Would you explain how to hide left over thread along the side of a scarf?

To get rid of the ends of your yarn, you will need a tapestry needle. That’s one of the big plastic ones. Cut your tail yarn so that it’s about 6-8 inchs long, thread it through the needle, and weave it through the scarf so that it is hidden. I usually weave it up for a few rows and then weave it across so that the end won’t come out no matter what way I pull on the finished project.

Hope that helps!

that’s what i did but looks ugly and bulky. do you know any picture site?

What some people do is untwist the plies of the yarn (if you happen to be working with that type of yarn) and then weave in each individual strand of the ply, even going in different directions. That might help distribute some of the bulkiness. However if you’re working with something like a boucle or a novelty yarn, you wouldn’t be able to do it that way.

thanks guys! :XX:
