Hi! Can somebody please please help me understand this:

“Row 1 (RS): K1, *yfwd, sl 1, K2, lift the slipped st over the last 2
K sts and off right needle, rep from * to last st, K1.
Row 2: K1, P90, K1.
These 2 rows form patt.”

My questions:

  1. I seem to have a problem distinguishing between the slip st and the yarn over (when it comes to passing it to the left needle) It gets completely tangled!
  2. How do you pass a sl st to the left? Is there a proper way? How is it called? I can’t find it on Youtube!

Hello again! After a million searches and essays, I found a video that helped me understand the pattern and instructions so I leave it here for anyone with a similar pattern/problem:

You are basically supposed to “drop” the slip stitch and not to put it on the other needle like I was doing (dumb of me, I know :joy:).

Hi. I was going to say that I didn’t see anything in the instructions for putting a stitch on the left hand needle. But you already figured that out on your own!!
