Hi I’ve read through this pattern and I’m abit confused as to the bit that says ‘work in pattern’ I’m not sure as to what bit it wants me to repeat or follow could someone please help me! Thanks

What is the name of your pattern and designer?
Work in pattern means to continue the stitches as they present themselves. Knit the V stitches and purl the bumps.
These rows are mostly the rows betweeen cable crosses. You’ll be continuing the pattern sts so that the areas either side of the central cables and the cables themselves are in stockinette (Vs showing on the public facing side or right side) and the sts between cables and side areas are reverse stockinette (purl bumps showing on the public facing side).

I think I found the gnome pattern I’ve been watching for. Daughter likes gnomes so mom needs to make one or more.
