My DH has a '71 Super Beetle!

While up momentarily I had to post about this! We used to have a '70 bright pink bug…then we got a 72 or so blue one! Now, this was just about 8 or 9 years ago & it they could easily be repaired with duct tape & string for most anything…LOL, I remember when the accelerator cable broke when we were out of town one time (this was on a Sun.) & my 
hubby literally repaired it with string & duct tape & we drove around like that for ages :roflhard: :rofling: I’m afraid that they finally met their demise or is it ‘demises’…anyway; no more bugs for us. It was quite a site to see my big 6 ft 3 1/2in hubby driving this bright pink bug
Danielle, I can’t remember the exact name of the color, but I think it’s a tomato orangy-red maybe…I’ll ask DH later!
